A Modern Addition Rooted in Material Simplicity

The Fife is a complete renovation and carefully considered addition to an existing home. The project reworks the original layout and introduces a new kitchen with a walk-in Butler’s pantry, living and dining spaces, a laundry and an alfresco, creating a more open and connected plan. The scope also included a new bathroom, renovation of the existing ensuite, and the addition of a walk-in robe to the master bedroom. Natural stone benchtops are used throughout, complemented by a floor-to-ceiling glass wine bottle display and burnished concrete flooring in the new extension. The result is a home that feels grounded, cohesive and designed for everyday living.
