Bohemian Love
Bohemian or Boho style is a rule-breaking, personal, and exotic style of decorating a living space. Boho is inspired by people who choose to lead an unconventional life such as constant travellers, actors, and writers. Although it is a fashion style strongly related to hippie fashion, in which natural fabrics, retro patterns, neutrals and warm shades merge with 70s style accents and a flair for statement accessories, boho fashion actually started out as a counterculture back in the 19th century. It includes a bright, patterned, multi- cultural combination of memorable layers and elements you simply can’t miss or forget for its uniqueness. Warm and earthy tones make the perfect canvas, and opting for a neutral base allows you to pile up expressive colour and pattern for the perfect mix without it being painfully overbearing and loud. Plants, contrasting patterned rugs, colourful cushions and throws, low-backed sofas, scattered with plenty of comfortable throw cushions, and poufs for extra seating, well-loved pieces are staples of the bohemian style. It is all about indulgent maximalism. Bright colours and bold hues, metallic and mirrored surfaces are hallmarks of the bohemian interior design.
